Michael Nanne

Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Michael Nanne is a partner practicing primarily in the area of civil litigation. He completed both of his Bachelors of Science and Arts at the University of Waterloo in 2000 and 2001 respectively. He attended the Michigan State University College of Law, earning his Juris Doctor degree in 2004 and was admitted to the New York State and the Ontario Bars in 2005 and 2006, respectively.

Michael spent over 7 years working at Bell Temple LLP, a top 10 Insurance Defence Litigation Boutique firm in Toronto. There, he focused his work on personal injury and insurance defence litigation, property claims (Water and Fire Loss) and occupiers’ liability. He returned home after being away for more than 20 years for school and work. Since joining O'Neill DeLorenzi Nanne in 2017, he has enjoyed giving back to the Soo and its community.

Michael continues to practice in the areas of Personal Injury and Insurance Defence Litigation, Property Claims (Water and Fire Loss) and Occupiers’ Liability. His diverse courtroom, negotiation, and trial experience have made him an essential part of our team. He regularly travels throughout the province to represent his clients’ interests. He is fluent in French and serves his clients in both official languages.
